Old Victorians CC is a single side midweek Cricket Club which plays once a week throughout the season from mid-April to the end of September based in the Loughton/Chingford area of Essex.

We usually play on Wednesdays, although occasionally we vary the day of the week. Our standard is around medium-weak although we can vary this according to the opposition and we play afternoon timed games – some of which are in Club Cricket Weeks.

In the main part of the season we start at 2pm to allow players the chance to travel from work and our cricket has a high element of conviviality together with socialising with our opponents after the game.

Our home games are mainly played at Chingford CC and many of our away games are played on lovely grounds in Essex, Herts, Middlesex and sometimes Kent and we provide an ACO qualified Umpire for all of our games. We do not charge an annual subscription and collect just a basic match fee for each game to cover costs such as tea etc.

Many of our players find that these midweek games keep them in good “nick” for the forthcoming weekend’s League fixtures. If you are interested in playing either regularly or just occasionally you would be most welcome and should contact Bill Burke on 07713 252637 or wtb103@hotmail.com
