We’re Civic Center Cricket Club, based in the Southend‑on‑Sea area and playing in the local midweek league. We’re a social, pub‑loving bunch who enjoy our cricket without taking ourselves too seriously, and we’re looking for friendly mid‑week fixtures in mid‑August.

Our touring group is medium‑weak in strength (enthusiasm outweighs talent), and we’re simply after enjoyable, good‑spirited games. We’re happy to pay match fees and contribute to any hosting costs.

We normally tour abroad with a motley crew, but this year we’re keen to expand our tours to include players who can’t travel overseas — so we’re hoping to find welcoming clubs in the South of England who might host us for a game or two.
