Wolvercote cricket club (www.wolvercotecricketclub.co.uk) is an established cricket club based in Oxford and is starting a Sunday friendly team to host ~10 Sunday fixtures during the 2025 season.

Sunday home matches to be played at either our ground in Cutteslowe Park (North Oxford) or at Kennington (South Oxford), both grass wickets!

We will be turning out a team of mostly weak/medium players who would typically play in the lower reaches of Saturday league cricket (Cherwell League for us).

The dates we currently have available to host matches are:

25th May, 1st June, 8th June, 29th June,  10th August, 17th August, 24th August and 7th September.

(We would also consider the odd away fixture if the distance is not too far).

As Sunday cricket is new to us, we’re quite flexible in terms of start time, number of overs etc and would try to arrange a tea for visiting teams.
